Gwyneth Paltrow recently graced the cover of Cultured magazine’s CULT 100 Issue, showcasing her toned legs in a pair of red underwear and rocker leather jacket. The Oscar winner’s minimal makeup and blonde tresses added to her stunning appearance. In an accompanying interview, she discussed her highly publicized 2023 ski trial, expressing her reluctance to engage in the media phenomenon it turned into. Paltrow also mentioned a musical inspired by the trial titled Gwyneth Goes Skiing but stated she doesn’t plan on seeing it anytime soon.

The ski trial originated as a civil lawsuit filed by Terry Sanderson, a retired optometrist, accusing Paltrow of colliding with him while skiing in 2016. Paltrow countersued for $1, claiming it was Sanderson who collided with her. The trial lasted over a week and became a pop culture phenomenon, ultimately resulting in the jury ruling in favor of Paltrow, finding her not at fault for the collision. She noted in the interview that as someone in the public eye for a long time, she prefers not to analyze such situations closely and lets them be what they are.

After the trial, Paltrow made headlines for her gracious response to Sanderson, tapping him on the shoulder and saying, ‘I wish you well’ – termed as the most gracious ‘f*** you’ in US legal history. In the interview, she mentioned her views on Artificial Intelligence, expressing a lack of fear towards it. Paltrow emphasized the importance of human connection and spiritual resonance that goes beyond technological advancements. She also discussed her struggles with understanding memes, seeking help from her children, Apple and Moses, to decode them.

Paltrow, who shares her children with ex-husband Chris Martin, reflected on her reluctance to join TikTok and her concerns about the current state of television. She mentioned her preference for shows like True Detective and expressed a desire for a return to self in the culture. Paltrow hopes for a shift towards a more robust inner life, free from the constant barrage of external influences and societal expectations. Overall, she advocates for a deeper connection to oneself and aims to navigate the challenges of modern culture in a more authentic and mindful way.
