Celebrity Big Brother winner David Potts has clarified that Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Louis Walsh are not part of the contestants’ group chat, dismissing rumors of a feud among the co-stars. The first CBB series since 2018 was filled with controversy and conflicts between castmates, including Love Island 2022 winner Ekin-Su, who faced trolling and withdrew from the final after falling out with fellow contestants like Marisha Wallace. Louis Walsh, known for his sharp tongue, also stirred up daily drama with his comments, particularly targeting Fern Britton during the show.

David, who won the CBB series in March, revealed that the WhatsApp group chat includes himself, Colson, Bradley, Nikita, Zeze, and Marisha, with separate conversations with Fern. He clarified that there is no feud among the former housemates, despite Ekin-Su, Louis, and others not being part of the chat. Even though Sharon Osbourne labeled two housemates as ‘cringe’ and ‘desperate,’ saying she didn’t like their behavior, David’s representative stated that all former housemates still get along well. He emphasized that any conflicts that arose during the show were resolved once the contestants left the house.

Louis Walsh faced backlash for his behavior in the CBB house, where he was perceived as blunt and critical of other contestants. Louis defended himself by saying that he was simply stating the truth and was not trying to be malicious, accusing some housemates of playing to the cameras. He singled out Fern Britton as someone who tried too hard to win and described her as ‘wallpaper.’ Louis also criticized other contestants like Gary Goldsmith, saying there was nothing substantial about them. Upon emerging from a social media break, Ekin-Su addressed her absence from the CBB final with a message of empowerment, expressing pride in her decision to prioritize her well-being.

Acknowledging that some may not understand her decision to step back from potentially uncomfortable situations, Ekin-Su asserted the importance of setting personal boundaries and taking care of oneself. She thanked those who supported her during this time and promised to provide more context around her recent experiences when she feels ready. Ekin-Su’s message reflected her resilience and determination to move forward positively despite facing challenges and criticism. Meanwhile, David Potts’ reassurance of harmony among former housemates and Louis Walsh’s defense of his actions in the CBB house highlighted the complexities of reality TV dynamics and the impact of personal interactions on participants’ experiences.
