Damian Hurley recently directed his mother, Elizabeth, in racy sex scenes for his directorial debut film titled Strictly Confidential. The 21-year-old model shared that it felt ‘normal’ to direct his mother in the intimate scenes, as they didn’t have intimacy co-ordinators on set. Damian explained that growing up in the industry as celebrity offspring, such situations were routine and not strange to them. He mentioned that his friends who also grew up in the industry felt the same way, finding it ordinary.

Damian added that the mother-son team did not require intimacy co-ordinators on set because everyone was comfortable. Elizabeth had previously taught Damian about sex from a young age, viewing it as a ‘beautiful and natural’ act but prohibiting him from watching violent films. Despite their controversial relationship, Damian did not see anything unusual about working with his mother, describing their bond as more like siblings than parent and child due to their close relationship. He noted their ‘twin telepathy’ and shared that they are extraordinarily alike and in tune.

Elizabeth revealed that Damian put her at ease while shooting the film and described it as ‘relaxing’ to have him behind the camera looking out for her. She emphasized feeling ‘safe and looked after’ with him on set, allowing her to explore roles that she hadn’t previously done in movies. Damian echoed his mother’s sentiments, stating that he found the intimate scenes comfortable and emphasized the tight shooting schedule of the film, which did not allow for overthinking scenes. The mother-son duo expressed their ease with the process, considering it part of their routine in show business.

In an interview with People, Damian discussed how Elizabeth had ‘promised’ to star in his first film years ago, and when the opportunity presented itself, she eagerly participated. The mystery drama follows Mia, portrayed by Georgia Lock, delving into a world of sex, duplicity, and betrayal as she uncovers the truth behind her friend Rebecca’s suicide. The trailer showcases Mia’s journey back to the Caribbean island where Rebecca died, promising to unveil secrets from the past. Strictly Confidential is set to release in cinemas and on Prime Video on April 5, 2022, showcasing Damian’s directorial debut and Elizabeth’s performance in a unique storyline.
