According to a statement on the website of the Coast Guard Command, a group of irregular migrants was spotted in a rubber boat off the coast of Karaburun. In response, a Coast Guard ship was dispatched to the area.

Upon interception by the authorities, 45 irregular migrants, including 3 children, were apprehended on the rubber boat.

After processing, the migrants were handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.
