The highly anticipated sixth season of the social media competition show, The Circle, is now streaming on Netflix. The show, based on the British TV series of the same name, features 11 contestants vying for the title of top influencer and the chance to win a cash prize of $100,000. Comedian Michelle Buteau returns as the host for this installment.

This season of The Circle will feature some new elements that set it apart from previous seasons. The contestants will be living in a new apartment building in Atlanta, Georgia, a departure from the previous Northern England location. Additionally, for the first time, an AI chatbot named Max will be competing alongside human contestants, using past seasons and competitors as inspiration to create the perfect profile.

Max, the AI bot, is a 26-year-old veterinary intern from the Midwest who aims to become the most popular player in the game. The bot’s strategies include leveraging life experience and holding a dog in its profile picture, as dogs receive 38% more likes on social media. The human contestants include individuals from various cities like Miami, Los Angeles, and Dallas, each bringing their own unique strategies and personalities to the game.

The Circle Season 6 premiered on Netflix on Wednesday, April 17, with the first four episodes available for streaming. New episodes will be released in batches every Wednesday at 3:01 a.m. ET, with the finale scheduled for May 8, 2024. The release schedule for Season 6 includes a total of 13 one-hour-long episodes, with the finale episode airing on May 8.

To watch The Circle, viewers will need a Netflix subscription, which offers three plans with different pricing options. While Netflix currently does not offer a free trial, viewers can downgrade, upgrade, or cancel their subscription at any time. Fans of the show can catch up on the latest season and watch as the contestants navigate the challenges of social media and strategic gameplay in their quest for the top prize.
