A fundraiser to throw a “rager” for the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill frat brothers who protected the Stars and Stripes from an anti-Israel mob has raised an impressive $400,000, with billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman donating $10,000 to the cause. The funds will help organize a party for the patriotic members of Pi Kappa Phi who defended the flag and showed their support for America. The fraternity brothers were overwhelmed by the generous donations from patriotic Americans who value good beer and great times.

The frat was in touch with other fraternities who also assisted in defending the American flag when protesters sought to replace it with the Palestinian flag on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus. This act came during a time of protests throughout the nation where college students demanded universities halt their support for Israel due to the conflict in the Gaza Strip. When the demonstrators attempted to remove the American flag, Pi Kappa Phi members stepped in to prevent it from falling.

Despite facing profane language, gestures, and flying debris from the protesters, the fraternity brothers stood their ground to protect the flag. They helped each other to ensure the flag did not touch the ground, showcasing their patriotism and bravery in the face of adversity. The students considered it a beautiful and inspiring moment, embodying the ideals of justice and freedom that the American flag represents.

The GoFundMe organizers shared a tongue-in-cheek description of the fundraiser, highlighting the bravery of the fraternity members in the face of chaos, antisemitism, and hatred of faith and flag. Old Glory was eventually raised back to its position with students chanting “USA, USA” in support. School officials took measures to prevent similar incidents in the future by erecting a barricade around the flag.

Social media users praised the fraternity brothers for their courage and patriotism, with some expressing admiration for their actions. Former Trump press secretary Sean Spicer applauded the group of young patriots for restoring his faith in the next generation of American voters. Many marveled at the potential of the party that could be organized with the massive amount of money raised, with some jokingly excluding Hamas from the guest list. The fundraiser served as a testament to the values of patriotism and unity in the face of adversity.
