Tyson Fury, the WBC heavyweight titleholder and lineal heavyweight champion, plans to fight ten more times in his career, according to reports. His next four fights are set, starting with a match against Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight title on May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. However, the winner will be stripped of the IBF title due to a rematch clause violation. Fury and Usyk are expected to rematch in October in Riyadh as well.

Following that, Filip Hrgovic and Daniel DuBois are set to fight for the vacated IBF title on June 1, with Anthony Joshua likely facing the winner in September. Fury then plans to fight Joshua twice in 2025, assuming Joshua secures the IBF title. If all goes according to plan, these fights would be for the undisputed title, solidifying Fury’s legacy as one of the greatest heavyweight champions of all time.

Fury’s record would be an impressive 38-0-1 with at least 24 wins by stoppage if he were to navigate his 10-fight plan successfully. He would have defeated every great fighter in his division at least twice, including Deontay Wilder, Joshua, and Usyk. However, accomplishing this goal will not be easy, with challenges posed by the speed and counter-punching ability of Usyk, who has already defeated Joshua twice.

Joshua, meanwhile, has shown a revitalized form since his losses to Usyk, establishing himself as one of the elite fighters in the division. Beating Joshua, especially twice, will be a significant challenge for Fury, who will turn 36 in August. While Fury may still be in the prime of his career by heavyweight standards, he has already been in some tough battles with other opponents and could face taxing fights with Usyk as well.

Fury’s ability to maintain proper physical conditioning and elite performances against the best in the division throughout his 10-fight plan will be crucial for his success. If he can achieve his goal and remain undefeated with a record and level of opposition that rivals or exceeds any heavyweight champion before him, Fury could potentially solidify his legacy as the greatest heavyweight champion of all time. It remains to be seen how Fury will fare in his upcoming fights and if he can ultimately achieve his ambitious career plan.
