In order to reduce the traffic congestion and prevent fatal and injury accidents caused by the convergence of the holiday and the mid-term break at schools, measures have been taken by the Kocaeli Governorship. Trucks, tow trucks, and tankers are not allowed to travel in the areas falling within the responsibility zone of Kocaeli from 5:00 on April 14 until 5:00 on April 15 in an effort to reduce traffic congestion in Istanbul and Ankara on their return from the holiday.

The Kocaeli Governorship has specified certain stopping points for trucks, tow trucks, and tankers using the D-100, D-130, D-575, D-595, Anadolu Highway, Istanbul-Osmangazi Bridge-Izmir Highway, and North Marmara Highway. These vehicles are advised to wait at designated locations such as Ormanya parking lot for trucks coming from Ankara, and Hilal Petrol Facilities for trucks coming from Istanbul to help alleviate traffic congestion on their return from holiday.

In a similar move, the Bolu Governorship has announced a ban on trucks, tow trucks, and tankers using the Anadolu Highway, D-100, and D-750 roads in the Bolu region for a period of 24 hours to reduce traffic congestion during the return from the holiday on April 13-14. The trucks are forbidden from traveling in the direction of Istanbul on the specified routes from April 14 at 05:00 until April 15 at 05:00 to ensure the safety of all travelers.

To address traffic congestion concerns and to prevent fatal and injury accidents, the Karabük Governorship has restricted the movement of trucks, tow trucks, and tankers in certain areas along the D-100 route within the boundaries of the province, particularly around Istanbul and Ankara. From 5:00 on April 14 until 5:00 on April 15, trucks are not allowed to travel towards Istanbul and Ankara on specified sections of the road to maintain traffic control and safety.

As the Ramazan Bayramı holiday coincides with the mid-term break in the education system, the Sakarya Governorship has also taken measures to reduce traffic congestion during the return period on April 13-14. Trucks, tow trucks, and tankers are prohibited from traveling towards Istanbul and Ankara along the D-100 and Kuzey Marmara highways within the responsibility zone of Sakarya from 5:00 on April 14 until 5:00 on April 15 to mitigate the effects of traffic congestion.

Similarly, the Düzce Governorship has decided to limit the traffic of trucks, tow trucks, and tankers within the boundaries of the province to address traffic congestion concerns during the return period on April 14-15. Trucks are not permitted to travel towards Istanbul along specified sections of the D-100 route and Anadolu Highway from 5:00 on April 14 until 5:00 on April 15 in order to ensure the safety and security of all travelers on the road.
