Kanye West reportedly got into an altercation at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles while trying to defend his wife, Bianca Censori. West allegedly struck one of the twin restaurateurs, Mark Houston or Jonnie Houston, after one of them accidentally bumped into Censori. West’s camp claimed that Censori was physically and sexually assaulted, but sources claimed it was all a misunderstanding and that the sexual assault allegations were false. West ended up punching the wrong twin in the incident.

West’s chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, responded to the incident by expressing disgust at journalists who did not believe Censori’s account of the assault. Despite conflicting reports, Yiannopoulos stood by his client’s statement that Censori was physically and sexually assaulted. The hotel also released an incident report that confirmed Censori was handled by an assailant who eventually let go. Yiannopoulos reiterated that the incident was indeed a physical and sexual assault and criticized any attempts to undermine its seriousness.

West has been named as a suspect in a battery case resulting from the altercation at the Chateau Marmont. The Los Angeles Police Department is still investigating the incident, and detectives were seen outside the hotel after the altercation occurred. The Houston brothers involved in the incident could not be reached for comment. This is not the first time West has been involved in a battery case, as he was previously charged in 2013 for a scuffle at LAX Airport and named a suspect in another incident in 2023.

Despite conflicting accounts of the altercation, West’s team stand by Censori’s claim that she was physically and sexually assaulted. They criticized journalists who did not believe her account and emphasized the seriousness of the incident.
