The “Yenişehir Evleri Arnavutköy Project” in Istanbul, aimed at providing housing for those without homes, saw the excitement of a lottery draw, according to a statement released by the Ministry. In the first two phases of the project, which 461,361 citizens applied for, 374,778 people who met the lottery participation conditions were included in the draw. The lottery draw, conducted with the presence of Kadıköy 9th Notary, determined 2,894 primary and an equal number of backup buyers as beneficiaries.

The “Yenişehir Evleri Arnavutköy Project,” designed with a Zero Waste infrastructure, low-rise, and horizontal architectural concept initiated by Emine Erdoğan, the wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is planned to be ground+6 floors. The project includes regional parks, squares, activity, sports, social, cultural life areas accessible to people of all ages, as well as religious, educational, and health facilities, along with pedestrian and bicycle paths.

A total of 2,894 independent sections in the project provide a 5% quota for disabled citizens, martyrs, and veterans’ relatives, and a 20% quota for youth.
