Stephanie Davis recently shared with her fans that she was hospitalized due to a severe chest infection that doctors initially feared might be pneumonia. The Coronation is asthmatic and was hospitalized with Covid-19 in July 2021, although she had not been vaccinated due to serious food allergies. Thankfully, it was determined that her latest hospitalization was due to a bad infection, not pneumonia. Stephanie expressed gratitude for her mother’s support during her time in the hospital. She is currently on steroids, antibiotics, and medication to improve her chest condition.

Stephanie’s rise to fame began when she participated in the BBC One talent show Over The Rainbow in 2010. Although she did not win, she caught the attention of Hollyoaks producers and joined the soap opera as Sinead O’Connor. However, her off-screen behavior led to her dismissal in 2015. Despite this setback, Stephanie returned to Hollyoaks in 2018 but later announced her departure in 2019 after a 10-year run. She took a break from acting to focus on raising her son Caben, revealing that her parents had taken her to rehab due to her struggles with alcohol.

In July last year, Stephanie joined Coronation Street, playing the role of Courtney Vance. Her character engaged in an affair with teenager Aadi Alahan, showcasing Stephanie’s return to the soap opera world. Stephanie has been open about her mental health struggles, disclosing her diagnosis of high-functioning autism and a past suicide attempt. Her mental health was impacted by her tumultuous relationship with Jeremy McConnell, with whom she shares her son Caben. Their relationship was filled with publicized disputes, domestic violence, and a subsequent restraining order.

Despite the challenges she faced in her personal life, Stephanie is now in a happy relationship with Joe Mckalroy, whom she met in November 2021. Stephanie has spoken openly about her struggles with mental health and her journey to recovery from her past traumas. She has also emphasized the importance of seeking help and support during difficult times. Stephanie’s resilience and perseverance through adversity serve as an inspiration to her fans and others facing similar challenges. She continues to focus on her well-being and personal growth as she navigates the complexities of life in the public eye.
