Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is a subscription service that offers access to hundreds of games for $17 a month, playable on Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One, and PC. Recently, Xbox added Shadow of the Tomb Raider to Game Pass, with three Day 1 releases coming soon including Orcs Must Die 3, EA Sports NHL 24, and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
Orcs Must Die 3 is a tower-defense game where players must eliminate orc hordes using various traps and weapons. EA Sports NHL 24 allows players to experience the Stanley Cup playoffs with new gameplay mechanics, vision passing, and an exhaust engine for added control over players. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is an action JRPG where players create a party of heroes to embark on an adventure across a war-torn continent. Players can also manage a small town and play mini-games along the way.
Another Crab’s Treasure is a Day 1 release where players control a hermit crab on a quest to buy back its repossessed shell using ocean trash as protection against enemies. Manor Lords, available on PC, is a medieval strategy game that combines city-building, tactical battles, economic simulations, and social interactions. Have a Nice Death is a roguelike game where players take on the role of Death, the CEO of Death Incorporated, in need of a vacation but facing a mountain of paperwork and demonic subordinates.
Game Pass Core, a cheaper subscription option at $10 a month, offers access to select games for online play. On April 23, Game Pass Core subscribers can access titles like Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. Additionally, Xbox is removing six titles from Game Pass on April 30, giving players time to finish any side quests before purchasing these titles separately. Overall, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate continues to expand its library and offer a variety of gaming experiences for subscribers, with new releases and benefits added regularly.
