According to a statement from the governorship, the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch Directorate of the Provincial Security Directorate conducted operations in order to prevent smuggling.
As a part of these operations carried out in the city, 19 smuggled cell phones, 80 charging cables, 17 chargers, 44 headphones, 8 smart watches, 450 unlicensed medical drugs, 180 high-energy nutritional products, 202 silver coins, a long-barreled weapon and magazine, 17 bullets, and 200 electric razors believed to be smuggled were seized, and 7 suspects were captured.
The suspects were subjected to legal proceedings and action was taken against them.
