Savannah Chrisley revealed on her Instagram Story why her sister Lindsie Chrisley was not in attendance at their parents’ recent hearing. Savannah stated that she had privately told Lindsie not to attend, as their dad did not want her there and did not care to have a relationship with her. The message was relayed to Lindsie through their grandmother, Nanny Faye Chrisley. Although Savannah did not plan on publicly addressing the situation, she felt the need to be honest after Lindsie discussed it on her podcast. Lindsie shared that she was not present at the hearing and stated that it was in the best interest for her and everyone else, as Savannah had made it clear their presence would cause issues and they would be asked to leave.

Lindsie expressed her surprise at the control and manipulation that Savannah appeared to have within their family. She found it alarming and chose not to elaborate further. Todd and Julie Chrisley, who have been in prison since January 2023, had a hearing on Friday, April 19, to appeal their tax and fraud case. Todd received a sentence of 12 years, while Julie was sentenced to seven years. Their sentences were reduced by roughly two years in September 2023. The couple were not present in court but listened to the hearing. Savannah, along with siblings Chase and Grayson, attended the hearing, along with Todd’s mother, Nanny Faye, and Savannah’s boyfriend, Robert Shiver.

The sisters, Savannah and Lindsie, have been at odds throughout their family’s legal drama, with Savannah accusing Lindsie of being involved in the government’s case against Todd and Julie. Despite this, Lindsie testified in court on behalf of her parents. Savannah highlighted Lindsie’s involvement in the case, citing interviews she did with the FBI for two years as proof of her role in the fiasco. Savannah believes that family is not solely defined by blood and can include close friends, emphasizing that blood relation does not necessarily make someone family.

The situation with the Chrisley family has been ongoing since Todd and Julie’s legal troubles began, leading to various conflicts and tensions within the family. Savannah’s decision to exclude Lindsie from attending the recent hearing further adds to the strained relationship between the siblings. The public nature of their familial issues, including legal battles and accusations, has been a source of ongoing drama within the family. Despite the disagreements and conflicts, each member of the family continues to navigate their relationships and the fallout from their parents’ legal troubles. The dynamics between the siblings continue to evolve as they navigate their individual feelings and perspectives on the family’s situation.
