Both surfers showcased their skills on the double-overhead waves and demonstrated why they are considered among the favorites for the upcoming Olympic competition in Tahiti.

In the women’s final, Gabriela Bryan and Sawyer Lindblad battled it out to secure their place on the tour for the remainder of the season. Bryan, 22, took the lead with a 7.83 for powerful turns on her forehand, aided by the presence of dolphins in the water. Lindblad also performed well, having defeated Tyler Wright in the semi-final, but Bryan’s superior performance earned her the win with an 8.10 on her second scoring ride.

The event at Margaret River provided ideal conditions for the surfers, with both Robinson and Bryan acknowledging the quality of the waves and the excitement of competing in such a challenging environment.
