A college student, Sade Robinson, was brutally killed after a date with Maxwell Anderson, who has drawn comparisons to the notorious “Milwaukee Monster” Jeffrey Dahmer. Robinson’s body parts have been found washed up along Lake Michigan’s shores, but not yet formally confirmed as hers. Robinson’s mother compared Anderson to Dahmer, but a lead detective from Dahmer’s case believes Anderson is not as charming or intelligent as Dahmer. Anderson, 33, was arrested three days after a dinner date with Robinson when a passerby found a severed leg in Warnimont Park in Cudahy, Wisconsin. Anderson has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson, and is currently in Milwaukee County Jail on $5 million bail.

The lead detective from Dahmer’s case, Steve Spingola, believes that the evidence left at Anderson’s house, on video cameras, and with witnesses, makes Anderson’s case different from Dahmer’s. He pointed out that Dahmer’s crimes were committed at a time when forensic evidence and surveillance resources were not as advanced as they are now. Anderson’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday, and the investigation is ongoing. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office stated that they do not believe there are any other victims connected to this case. Robinson, a college student studying criminal justice at Milwaukee Area Technical College, had hopes of pursuing a career in the U.S. Air Force.

Robinson’s mother, Sheena Scrabrough, expressed her horror and grief at her daughter’s tragic death on a recent episode of Crime Stories with Nancy Grace. She compared Anderson to Jeffrey Dahmer, stating that this level of brutality and violence was not normal. Robinson’s remains were found on various dates in April, and law enforcement continues to search for more evidence in the case. Law enforcement officials have urged anyone with information about the case to come forward. Anderson was arrested on April 4, just three days after the discovery of Robinson’s remains, and has been charged with multiple offenses, including first-degree intentional homicide and mutilating a corpse. He remains in custody on a $5 million bail.

Anderson’s arrest and charges have brought closure to the initial investigation, but the trauma of Robinson’s death continues to impact her family and loved ones. The investigation into Anderson’s actions and motives remains ongoing, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Anderson on Monday. Robinson’s hopes of joining the military and pursuing a career in the U.S. Air Force were tragically cut short by this senseless act of violence. The community has been shaken by this horrific crime, and law enforcement officials are working diligently to bring justice to Robinson and her family. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office has appealed for anyone with information to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
