Warhorse Studio’s sequel to Kingdom Come: Deliverance is set to be released later this year on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. The game takes place in the 15th century Bohemian city of Kuttenberg and promises to be even bigger and more diverse than its predecessor. New weapons like crossbows and primitive firearms will be introduced as players follow the story of the squire Henry and the knight Hans Capon.

In a trailer showcasing gameplay and cinematics, the developers discuss the larger scope of the game and the improvements they have made since the first installment. Kingdom Come Deliverance II is described as a “behemoth” of a game with more energy, pace, adventure, action, and fun. The world of the game is roughly twice the size of the first, with a more in-depth story centered around the complexities of kingship.

Creative director Daniel Vavra expresses his excitement for the sequel, stating that the team now has the resources and experience to take the game to a new level. The game aims to provide players with an immersive experience that is historically accurate in terms of weapons, costumes, locations, and people. While Kingdom Come Deliverance II is not a fantasy RPG like Skyrim or The Witcher, it offers plenty of adventure, exploration, and knightly quests for players to enjoy.

The game will feature a full choir and orchestra in a beautiful Eastern European cathedral, adding to the immersive experience of the game. Actor Tom McKay, who plays Henry in the game, praises the sequel for its energy, pace, adventure, action, and fun. The story has evolved to focus on the complexities of kingship and the challenges that come with it. The developers promise a game that is filled with trials, tribulations, and everything players could want in a medieval adventure.

With a setting in the 15th century Bohemian city of Kuttenberg, Kingdom Come Deliverance II offers players a chance to save the world or help punish it for its sins. The game is set to be much bigger in scope than the first installment, with a world that is twice the size. Players can expect a more diverse and immersive experience with new weapons, improved gameplay mechanics, and a story that delves deeper into the struggles of kingship. Overall, Kingdom Come Deliverance II promises to be a thrilling adventure filled with action, exploration, and historical accuracy for players to enjoy.
