Mustafa Sarıbaş, a wheat trader, discovered that his brother Abdullah Sarıbaş’s truck had gone missing from the wheat market in Fevzi Çakmak neighborhood of the Karatay district on March 13. Unable to locate his truck worth 1.3 million TL, Sarıbaş informed the police two days later.

After examining the cameras in the area and the surrounding roads, it was determined that the truck had been taken to Adana. Mustafa Sarıbaş and his friends then traveled to Adana to search for the missing truck.

Sarıbaş meticulously inspected the security camera footage of businesses along the route from where the truck was last seen. He watched around 40 camera recordings and identified that the truck had entered an industrial site in Seyhan district. He then went through the streets of the industrial site one by one in search of the truck.

Sarıbaş spotted the truck’s cabin in front of a mechanic shop and immediately informed the police. During a raid on the shop, the truck’s engine and some parts were found. Upon examining the security cameras at the shop, the police discovered that the truck had been dismantled with a crane within approximately 4 hours and some parts had been sold.

The shop owner, Ferdi Şensoy, was taken into custody. Following the procedures at the police station, Şensoy was sent to Adana Courthouse and subsequently arrested.

Sarıbaş managed to trace the truck’s cabin to a mechanic named S.Ş. in Nevşehir, based on information from the truck driver who had left the cabin there. He traveled to Nevşehir from Adana to recover the cabin. Although he has not yet found the truck’s chassis, Sarıbaş mentioned that they located the axle section buried in the ground in Adana.

The police continue their efforts to identify other suspects involved in the incident. Sarıbaş expressed relief that he was able to retrieve some parts of his truck through thorough investigation and remains determined to find the missing chassis to restore his vehicle fully.
