Matthew McConaughey and wife Camila Alves are promoting their alcohol brand, Pantalones Organic Tequila, by participating in National “No Pants Day” on May 3. In a playful campaign, the couple is seen sans pants while extolling the virtues of their smooth and flavorful tequila. They emphasize that above all, tequila is meant to be fun and not taken too seriously, hence their decision to go without pants in the promotional video. The video also features them playing pickleball and tackling spring cleaning while declaring Pantalones the official tequila of these activities.

Launched in 2013, Pantalones Tequila is made by fourth-generation agave growers at NOM1614, certified organic, and made from 100 percent Blue Weber agave. The brand is dedicated to giving back, donating a percentage of its revenue to environmental non-profit partners. Pantalones has partnered with the Surfrider Foundation, an organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches. The philanthropy of McConaughey and Alves extends beyond their brand as they also support various nonprofit organizations through events like the annual Mack, Jack & McConaughey Gala in Austin, Texas.

The Mack, Jack & McConaughey Gala, cofounded by McConaughey, country singer Jack Ingram, and college football coach Mack Brown, benefits nonprofits dedicated to empowering children. The charity has raised over $41 million since its inception and is focused on giving back to the community. When they are not involved in philanthropic efforts, McConaughey and Alves are focused on raising their children in Texas after relocating from California. Despite their happy life in Malibu, the couple found solace in Texas and feel a sense of home whenever they are in the Lone Star state.

Reflecting on their decision to relocate to Texas, Alves shared that they were living a happy life in Malibu but found a sense of peace and relaxation in Texas. The couple felt a strong connection to the state, and Alves described feeling at home as soon as she landed in Texas. They have found a happy place to raise their children and have embraced their new environment, with Alves even admitting that the gravity is different in Texas. Despite their busy lives and successful careers, McConaughey and Alves prioritize family and creating a nurturing environment for their children.

McConaughey and Alves continue to be involved in various philanthropic endeavors, supporting causes that empower children and benefit environmental organizations. Their commitment to giving back is evident in their support of nonprofits and events that contribute to the community. Through their brand, Pantalones Tequila, they aim to promote a fun and enjoyable approach to tequila while also giving back to important causes. The couple’s dedication to charity work, combined with their love for Texas and raising their children in a supportive environment, showcases their commitment to making a positive impact on the world.
