She explained that this decision was a monumental moment in her life, and she wanted to ensure that her future child would know they were brought into the world out of love. Lala expressed gratitude for the option to build a family on her own and emphasized that she is a good mother who is excited about the process of choosing her donor.
At the party, Lala’s friends and family were presented with three potential candidates for the donor. The first option was praised by Lala for his physical attributes and kind demeanor. Scheana Shay was particularly impressed by his favorite song and animal, jokingly suggesting that they should move forward with him. The second man had a Masters degree in Art History, and Lisa Vanderpump was interested in him because his favorite animal was a dog. Lala’s friend Ariana Madix seemed less thrilled about the second option, urging potential donors to be thorough and heartfelt in their answers when filling out their profile.
The third donor had a background in accounting and finance, with a passion for cooking that resonated with Lala’s mother. Lala clarified to her guests that they were not shopping for a man, just his sperm. After the group voted for the first donor, Lala expressed emotional and excitement about moving forward with her pregnancy plans. She shared that she ideally wants a Virgo baby and is planning for a November or December insemination, leading to an August or September due date. Lala also reiterated that she does not want another person involved in her child’s life, as she is scarred from past experiences and custody negotiations with her ex.
Earlier this year, Lala confirmed that she was undergoing the process of intrauterine insemination (IUI) and announced her second pregnancy in March. She later revealed that she is expecting another girl.
