Blackpink singer Jennie has reached new heights with her hit collaboration track “One of the Girls” with The Weeknd and Lily Rose Depp. The song has been on the Hot 100 chart for an impressive 18 weeks, making it one of the longest-charting tracks by a South Korean musician.

Jennie has now surpassed Jung Kook, another South Korean solo artist, on the list of longest-charting hits in Hot 100 history. Jung Kook’s song “Left and Right” with Charlie Puth spent 17 weeks on the chart in 2022, but Jennie has now claimed the third spot on the ranking.

The top spot for the longest-running single by a South Korean soloist on the Hot 100 still belongs to Psy with his iconic track “Gangnam Style,” which spent a record-breaking 31 weeks on the chart. Despite “One of the Girls” dropping in the rankings to No. 81, it is expected to make a comeback and continue climbing up the chart.

If Jennie’s song manages to stay on the Hot 100 for a 19th week, it will tie with Jung Kook’s “Standing Next to You” as the second-longest-charting track by a South Korean solo musician on the Hot 100. This would solidify Jennie’s place in music history and showcase her continued success in the industry.
