Jeannie Mai and Jeezy are embroiled in a messy and public divorce, with new court documents revealing accusations of domestic violence and child neglect. The documents describe multiple incidents of physical abuse, including one where Jeezy allegedly choked Jeannie from behind and pushed her down the stairs, as well as another where he struck her with a closed fist across her cheekbone and eye. Jeezy has denied the allegations, calling them false and an attempt to tarnish his character.

Photos of the injuries Mai sustained following the alleged attacks were included in the court documents, along with text messages from Jeezy apologizing for his behavior. Mai also expressed concerns about their toddler’s access to Jeezy’s firearms, claiming she found Monaco with his AK-47 inside a Louis Vuitton bag. She removed the child from the Atlanta residence on Oct. 11, 2023, citing safety concerns.

In a statement on Instagram, Jeezy maintained his innocence and stated that his main concern is being an active father to their daughter while fighting for joint custody through the legal system. He expressed disappointment at the manipulation and deceit at play, and assured that the truth will prevail. However, earlier this month, Jeezy reportedly filed for primary custody of Monaco, claiming that he does not know where the child actually lives or who is caring for her while Mai is working.

The messy divorce between Jeannie Mai and Jeezy has taken a troubling turn with allegations of domestic violence and child neglect. While Jeezy has denied the accusations and emphasized his commitment to being an active father, Mai has shared evidence of her injuries and concerns about their daughter’s safety. The situation remains unresolved as the two continue to navigate the legal process and fight for custody of Monaco. A hearing has been scheduled for May 2 to address the custody dispute and bring clarity to the complex situation.
