A decision regarding the enforcement of the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on the Granting of Grants for the Sheep-Goat Pox Vaccine (Penpox)” signed on December 22, 2023 in Ankara was published in the Official Gazette. The agreement stipulates that “the Turkish side will grant 40,000 doses of sheep-goat pox vaccine needed by the TRNC side in 2023.”

Another decision published in the Official Gazette concerns the approval of the decision numbered 1/2023 regarding the “Reciprocal Concessions in Basic Agricultural Products, Processed Agricultural Products, and Fisheries Products” of the Joint Committee established within the framework of the “Free Trade Agreement on Transit” between the Republic of Turkey and the State of Palestine signed on December 26, 2023 in Ankara. This decision was approved in accordance with the 5301 Law, the 1st article of the Presidential Decree numbered 9, and the 2nd and 3rd articles of the Law.

Some changes were made in this decision regarding the agreement. Another decision published in the Official Gazette pertains to the approval of the decision concerning the “Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Education between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan” signed on May 10, 2022 in Ankara. The aim of the agreement is to develop cooperation in the field of education based on principles of equality and mutual respect in accordance with national legislation and international agreements to which the parties are party.

Moreover, the decision regarding the approval of the “Financial Agreement on the NEXT Mediterranean Cooperation Program (INTERRG V1-B) signed in Ankara on October 13, 2023 on behalf of the Republic of Turkey was published in the Official Gazette. Additionally, a decision concerning corrections made to the concessions granted by Switzerland to Turkey in processed agricultural products within the “Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Turkey and the EFTA States” dated June 25, 2018 was published in the Official Gazette, with the corrections effective from October 1, 2021.
