Gwen Stefani and her band No Doubt reunited for the first time in nearly a decade at the 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. During their 80-minute set, the band performed hits like “Hella Good,” “It’s My Life,” “Underneath It All,” “Sunday Morning,” and “Don’t Speak,” with Stefani showing off her high energy stage antics. No Doubt’s performance, filled with nostalgia, received glowing reviews from fans who called it “absolutely phenomenal” and “one of the best performances of the year.”

Ahead of their Coachella reunion, Stefani teased that the band was planning a cohesive and nostalgic look for their performance. The band members coordinated in plaid ensembles, with Stefani sporting space buns, red lipstick, and zippers over black fishnet tights. Stefani mentioned that part of her makeup plans included wearing blue eyeliner, which she had not done on stage during a No Doubt show before. The band wrapped up their set with “Spiderwebs,” a classic hit from their 1995 album “Tragic Kingdom,” to roaring applause from the audience.

No Doubt’s Coachella performance marked their first reunion in nearly a decade, with the band previously reuniting in 2012 for their sixth album, “Push and Shove,” and performing a few shows in 2015. While Stefani is open to future opportunities, the band currently has no concrete plans to get back into the studio post-Coachella. Gwen Stefani felt that the Coachella reunion would be a great way to close a chapter in their relationship, as they hadn’t had constant communication or spent much time together leading up to the gig.

Gwen Stefani expressed some regret over prioritizing her music endeavors over family time after having three children with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. Despite these feelings, Stefani, who married Blake Shelton in 2021, is not ready to give up music just yet. Describing the songwriting process as addictive, Stefani compared it to drugs, emphasizing that she still wants to contribute and live her purpose through music. No Doubt is set to perform again during the second weekend of Coachella, along with other artists like Deftones, Lana Del Rey, and Tyler, the Creator.
