Danone, a French dairy products company, has recently dissolved its last subsidiary in Belarus, known as DanoneBel. The total loss in Danone’s accounts due to exiting the Russian market amounts to $1.3 billion, reflecting the significant financial impact of leaving the country.
The exit measures implemented by the Russian government, combined with writedowns, lost revenue, and other factors, have resulted in a total loss of over $107 billion for foreign firms that have exited Russia, according to Reuters.
