Megan Thee Stallion has been accused of harassment by her former cameraman, Emilio Garcia, who claims he was forced to watch her have sex with another woman. In a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Garcia alleges that the incident occurred in Ibiza, Spain in 2022 while he was working for the star. He claims that after the alleged incident, he was told not to discuss what he saw and that Megan fat-shamed and treated him differently, creating a hostile work environment that made his working conditions intolerable.

Garcia began working for Megan as her personal cameraman in 2018, quitting his job the following year to work with her full-time until June 2023. He claims that the incident in Ibiza happened while he was in an SUV with Megan and three other women after a night out. He says Megan and one of the women began to have sex next to him in the car, leaving him feeling uncomfortable and shocked. Despite his discomfort, he claims that Megan told him not to discuss what he saw and fat-shamed him, calling him a ‘fat b***h’ and telling him not to eat, which left him feeling degraded.

Following the incident in Ibiza, Garcia claims that Megan changed his compensation structure and made him consider quitting due to her possessiveness and lack of appropriate pay for the amount of time asked of him. He alleges that he endured relentless sexual and fat-shaming comments while working with Megan, which caused him profound emotional distress and anxiety. Garcia also claims that his independent contractor status led to employment and wage violations, including denial of overtime pay and breaks, as well as restrictions on working for others.

Garcia’s lawsuit seeks more than six figures in unpaid wages, interest on the unpaid wages, unpaid overtime wages, and other employee benefits at the legal rate. He also seeks statutory penalties and wage penalties under California labor laws, punitive damages, and reimbursement for costs incurred, including attorneys’ fees. Garcia’s attorney, Ron Zambrano, stated that Megan needs to pay Garcia what he is due, own up to her behavior, and stop engaging in sexual harassment and fat-shaming conduct towards employees.

The lawsuit alleges that Megan’s behavior towards Garcia was inappropriate and illegal, exposing him to a toxic work environment and causing physical injuries, sickness, and emotional distress. Garcia contends that working with Megan without basic insurance coverage and facing misclassification as an independent contractor exacerbated his anxiety, depression, and physical distress. Despite remaining on Megan’s schedule, Garcia claims Roc Nation informed him that his services would no longer be required, leading to a loss in earnings and other employment benefits.
