Divers searching the wreckage of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland have recovered a fifth body, identified as Miguel Angel Luna Gonzalez. The recovery was made after salvage teams located a missing construction vehicle in the Patapsco River and notified the Maryland Department of State Police. The Superintendent of the Maryland Department of State Police, Colonel Roland L. The discovery of the fifth body comes weeks after the Sri Lanka-bound Dali container ship struck the Key Bridge, causing it to collapse on March 26, resulting in the deaths of six workers. The Unified Command overseeing the recovery efforts reported that multiple agencies, including the Maryland State Police Department’s underwater recovery team and the FBI, assisted in locating and lifting the victim from the water. This marks the fourth body recovered from the wreckage, with one more victim still unaccounted for.
