Nearly a year after the tragic death of Noah Presgrove, his family is still searching for answers. Presgrove was found naked and dead along a rural highway in Oklahoma on Labor Day. His body was discovered alongside U.S. Highway 81 in Jefferson County. His sister, Madison Rawlings, received the devastating news early in the morning and drove eight hours to the scene, where she detoured around her brother’s body. Presgrove was last seen alive at a party, but the family remains uncertain about how he ended up dead on the highway. The house where the party took place was 30 miles from Presgrove’s residence, and Rawlings believes her brother would not have walked home from the party.

Authorities initially ruled Presgrove’s death as “suspicious” and indicated that it was not a result of a hit-and-run accident due to the nature of his injuries. Presgrove’s family was informed early on in the investigation that a hit-and-run had been ruled out. The family was told that his injuries were not consistent with being hit by a vehicle. Despite this information, the official cause of Presgrove’s death remains unknown. His family created a Facebook page called “Justice for Noah Presgrove” to keep supporters updated on the investigation. Presgrove’s cousin, Ashley Chadwick, acknowledged the pain of the family and friends left behind and called for the community to celebrate his life and honor his memory.

Presgrove’s loved ones described him as a kind and non-confrontational person who was loved by many. He had graduated early from high school and was set to join the military before his untimely death at the age of 19. Rawlings recalled that Presgrove was not a troublemaker and had no known enemies who would wish him harm. Despite the lack of answers, the family maintains a positive outlook and hopes that whoever knows the truth about Presgrove’s death will come forward. Rawlings expressed her belief that Presgrove’s death was likely the result of an accident that led to panic among those involved. She emphasized that her family does not seek retaliation but rather closure.

The medical examiner’s report found that Presgrove had attended a party the night before his death, where he was involved in an ATV accident that resulted in a rollover. The report stated that Presgrove was alive following the incident and returned to the party, where he had an argument with his girlfriend before leaving and being found dead the next day. Rawlings questioned the details of the report, particularly the identity of the girl with whom Presgrove was allegedly arguing. The investigation into Presgrove’s death remains ongoing, with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol leading the case. The family continues to push for answers and closure, urging anyone with information to come forward.

As the family approaches eight months without answers, Rawlings remains hopeful that the truth will eventually emerge. She shared that the medical examiner’s report cited “multiple blunt force injuries” as the cause of Presgrove’s death, but the manner of his death remains unknown. Presgrove’s cousin, Lindsay Fowler, appealed to anyone who may have information regarding what happened to Presgrove to come forward. The family is determined to find closure and to honor Presgrove’s memory by seeking justice for his untimely passing. Despite the pain and uncertainty surrounding Presgrove’s death, his family remains hopeful that the truth will prevail and bring them the closure they seek.
