Former Trump official and Republican Nevada Senate candidate Jeff Gunter has launched an initiative called “Build the Wall, Deport Them All” to address the crisis at the southern border. Gunter plans to invest $1 million of his own money into the initiative, which will include developing a website and reporting mechanism for citizens to report suspicious activity related to illegal immigration. The initiative is expected to have more backers in the future and aims to address the economic impact of illegal immigration on small businesses across the country.

Gunter criticized President Biden, Democrats, and Republicans In Name Only (RINOs) for failing to secure the nation’s borders, and he believes it is time for real patriots to step up. He emphasizes the need to restart wall construction and enforce existing laws without apology, stating that his financial commitment reflects his personal dedication to national security and the rule of law. Gunter’s initiative will involve working with local businesses to identify and report illegal immigrants negatively impacting their operations, with that information being passed to the Department of Homeland Security for immediate action.

If elected as a U.S. senator, Gunter plans to focus on shutting the border, enhancing border surveillance, cracking down on sanctuary cities and states, and ending birthright citizenship. He aims to reinstate policies like the Remain in Mexico program for asylum seekers and Title 42, which allowed officials to turn away migrants due to health concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic. Gunter believes that illegal immigrants are invaders and asserts that America needs to keep its citizens safe by implementing strong border security measures, including the largest deportation program in history.

Gunter’s investment in the initiative comes as he is facing off against former U.S. Army Captain Sam Brown for the Republican nomination for the Senate seat currently held by Democrat Jacky Rosen. Gunter has been critical of Rosen and vows to support President Trump’s immigration policies if elected. He aims to advocate for a deportation program to address illegal immigration and asserts that the first act of an American should not be an illegal one. Gunter’s campaign has been highly criticized by the National Republican Senatorial Committee, which has sought to tie him to California, where he previously resided.

Despite criticism from the NRSC and others, Gunter remains focused on his border security initiatives and his goal of winning the Republican nomination and later defeating Rosen in the November election. Gunter’s primary focus as a senator would be on securing the border and implementing policies to address illegal immigration. He expresses a strong commitment to national security and the rule of law, emphasizing the need to protect America from what he considers to be invaders. Gunter’s initiative and campaign continue to gain momentum as the primary election approaches on Tuesday, June 11.
