A recent operation was conducted by the Narcotics Department and Special Operations Branch Directorate of the Provincial Police Department in coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office in order to prevent drug trafficking in the province. During the operation, a total of 7 suspects were apprehended and various amounts of synthetic drugs, narcotics, marijuana, 2 precision scales, a blank pistol, and a hunting rifle were seized during searches.

The suspects, identified as A.A., S.B., H.K., E.B., H.B., İ.B., and A.Y., were taken into custody and after the completion of the necessary procedures at the police station, they were taken to court. Following their interrogation by the prosecutor, the suspects were arrested by the judges.

The operation conducted by the law enforcement authorities is a part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and abuse in the province. The seizure of a significant amount of drugs and related items is a major step towards dismantling drug networks and preventing the illegal activities of drug traffickers in the area.
