The New Neighbours task in Gray Zone Warfare may seem simple at first, but there is a surprise objective that needs solving. Handshake gives you the task after completing initial quests in your starting town, asking you to go to the military complex south of Fort Narith. However, there is another objective that unlocks after visiting the complex – finding intel and bringing it back to Handshake.

To complete the New Neighbours task, players must head to the compound YBL-1 located in map square 143 121, with the Lima 2 landing zone in square 144 120 as the best landing option. Upon arriving at the compound, the first objective will be completed, unlocking the next objective of finding intelligence.

To obtain the intelligence, players must enter the bunker through multiple entrances and head to the back on the main level. In the security room at map square 142 121, next to a VCR player, a VCR tape containing the necessary intel is located. Players must pick up the tape and safely transport it back to their base to hand it over to Handshake and complete the task.

Unlike other quests in Gray Zone Warfare, the New Neighbours task takes place in a popular PvP area of the game, meaning players may encounter not only AI enemies but also enemy players from other factions. Due to the confined spaces of the bunker, it is recommended to run with a squad or other faction members for a better chance of completing the task, as it can be challenging to navigate in the presence of enemy players.

Players may also encounter the True Grit task around the same time as the New Neighbours quest, a task that proves to be much harder than it initially appears. As players navigate through the challenges of Gray Zone Warfare, completing tasks such as New Neighbours and True Grit adds layers of complexity and excitement to the gaming experience.
