The popular Karate Kid sequel series, Cobra Kai, is gearing up for an epic 3-part series finale. Netflix released the trailer for the sixth and final season, which will consist of 15 new episodes. Season 6 will be split into three parts, with the first block dropping on July 18, the second on November 28, and the third slated for 2025. The season will pick up with Cobra Kai eliminated from the Valley, and the senseis and students must decide if and how they will compete in the Sekai Taikai, the world championships of karate. The series continues to follow the stories of Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence as they put their childhood conflict behind them and face a common enemy.

The ensemble cast for season 6 includes familiar faces such as William Zabka, Ralph Macchio, Martin Kove, and Yuji Okumoto. They will be joined by Xolo Maridueña, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, Gianni DeCenzo, Courtney Henggeler, Vanessa Rubio, Dallas Dupree Young, Alicia Hannah-Kim, Griffin Santopietro, and Oona O’Brien. The series creators, Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, expressed their goal of ending Cobra Kai on their own terms, leaving the Valley in the time and place they have always imagined. While it may be a bittersweet day for fans, the creators are proud of the achievement and believe that the Miyagiverse has never been stronger.

With questions remaining after the volatile fifth season, fans are eager to see how things will unfold in season 6. With Terry Silver no longer in a leadership position and John Kreese on the run, how will their common enemy remain in power? Will Miyagi-Do still battle for supremacy in the Sekai Taikai Tournament? Will Miguel and his dad find closure, and will the high school kids at the opposing dojos be able to let bygones be bygones? Fans can expect to get answers to these questions and more as Cobra Kai makes its explosive return to Netflix this summer. The series promises to deliver an action-packed and emotional conclusion to the beloved story of Daniel, Johnny, and their students as they navigate the world of karate and face their toughest challenges yet.
