This woman’s brew-tiful gesture has TikTok in tears.

A Starbucks barista shared an encounter she had with a customer, and the heartwarming story quickly went viral.

The coffee maker, named Courtney, posted a video on Apr. 26 sharing the story and asking users on the platform to help her find the woman she spoke to.

Courtney explained that she works at Starbucks part-time — mostly starting her day at 4 a.m. and ending her shift between 9:30 and 10 a.m. — and that she’s a morning person who shows up to work “loud and proud and peppy.”

She noticed a “struggling” customer and was determined to get the woman smiling — which she did with success.

A couple minutes after the interaction, the woman walked back in and gave Courtney’s manager a note to pass on to her.

The note read: “I travel a lot for wok. That usually means late nights and very early mornings…I’ve been here for two days and so far you have been the only person I have encountered that has been genuinely kind. You were the first face I saw this morning and you really brightened my day.”

The sweet message continued: “I’m sure you are exhausted because life, right? That’s all of us. But you deserve to know you made a difference in someone’s day today just by being kind. I’m also willing to bet you have a great sense of humor. Who doesn’t appreciate that? I hope you have the very best day. I know I will thanks to you.

“Treat yourself to something nice. I can tell you deserve it. Maybe just not coffee,” the “groggy woman at 5 a.m,” finished the note, adding, “Do good in this world and it will always come back to you.”

In her TikTok clip, the barista broke down over the sweet note, saying this will be her first Mother’s Day without her mom who passed away last June and that she was dreading the holiday.

In addition to the note, the customer also gave Courtney $200.

Thanks to the woman’s generous gesture, Courtney revealed that she can now afford to buy the urn she was looking at for her mother’s remains and “bring [her] mom home for Mother’s Day.”

Crying, she said that the money she was gifted “allows her to spend Mother’s Day with her mom.”

“Thank you for the impact that you made on my life, and I hope that you see this and know that you did something that I will never forget,” Courtney ended the video, which has garnered 3.3 million views as of Tuesday morning.

The comments section on the video was full of people in their feelings.

“YOUR MOM SENT THAT WOMAN TO YOU!” one person wrote.

“She is an angel that your mom sent. This is the most beautiful story. I know how important it is for you to bring her home,” another said.

“I’m not a spiritual person but I do believe in our loved ones sending us signs. Your mom is so proud of you. That was her giving you a big hug,” a third commented.

“The most kind people who brighten everyone else’s days are fighting the biggest battles themselves,” a fourth user wrote.

“I’ve been on TikTok for four years now. And this is, hands down, the most beautiful and touching video I have ever came across. I have tears streaming down my face. What a special encounter that you,” an additional viewer declared.

In a follow-up video, Courtney shared that she has yet to find the generous woman at Starbucks to thank her for her kidness, though she has received messages with potential leads.

Meanwhile, in the same video, she shared that after the initial video went viral, another TikTok user who goes by Dawn — who has “been such a light in my life already” — tracked her down and matched the gift that was given to her by the Starbucks woman.

While she’s not asking anyone for anything more, many people have reached out wanting to send Courtney some cash.

Courtney has is instead encouraging people to “pay it forward,” perhaps by paying for the Starbucks order for the person behind you.
