Ariana Madix responded to Raquel Leviss’ revenge porn lawsuit by accusing her ex-friend of trying to seek vengeance for Sandoval. The court documents obtained by Page Six showed that Leviss was looking to punish and blame Madix for negative reactions following Leviss’ affair with Sandoval. Madix’s lawyers claimed that the lawsuit was an abuse of the legal process and sought to suppress free speech rather than vindicate any rights. They requested that Leviss’ lawsuit be dismissed and that she should pay attorneys’ fees and costs.

Leviss, known for her “Rachel Goes Rogue” podcast, filed the lawsuit in the Los Angeles Superior Court against Madix and Sandoval, accusing them of revenge porn, emotional distress, eavesdropping, and invasion of privacy. Leviss alleged that Sandoval recorded an intimate FaceTime call with her without consent, depicting her in a private situation. She claimed Madix found the video and feared that she would leak it because she despised Leviss and was seeking revenge. Madix discovered the affair at a concert where she saw the sex video on Sandoval’s phone and immediately confronted him about it.

Madix’s lawyers clarified that she did not share or display the video footage she found and that Sandoval erased them from her phone during their discussion in an alley behind the concert venue. Madix also confirmed that she did not send the videos to anyone else and merely saw them in private locations. Sandoval, while responding to Leviss’ lawsuit, criticized her for trying to extend her fame and positioning herself as the victim rather than the other woman. His lawyers argued that the FaceTime session was consensual and that Leviss had shared the videos with him.

Leviss’ attorneys responded to Sandoval’s defense by calling it disturbing and emphasizing that they would present evidence in court to support their claims. Leviss admitted to being involved with Sandoval during his decade-long relationship with Madix but stated that there was more to the story. She declared herself a victim of Sandoval’s predatory behavior and insisted that the scandal was triggered by Madix seeking revenge. Leviss sought damages and requested that Sandoval and Madix cease the distribution of her alleged video and destroy all copies.

While Leviss and Sandoval continued to dispute the allegations in court, Madix’s legal team argued that the lawsuit was attempting to punish and suppress free speech. They contended that Leviss’ claims lacked merit and were solely aimed at seeking revenge on Madix for the fallout of her affair with Sandoval. Despite the ongoing legal battle, all parties involved maintained their positions and sought to address the allegations through the legal process. The case highlighted issues of privacy, consent, and the consequences of sharing intimate content without permission.
