A group of irregular migrants was caught in a rubber boat off the coast of Foça, as reported on the Turkish Coast Guard Command’s website. Upon receiving this information, teams were dispatched to the area.

The teams managed to apprehend 14 irregular migrants, including one child, who were on the rubber boat they intercepted.Additionally, five suspects who were believed to be organizing the migrants’ crossing were apprehended on land as a result of tracking operations coordinated by the District Police Department.

In the same area, a total of 43 irregular migrants, including five children, were captured in another rubber boat detected by an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle operated by the Coast Guard. These migrants were also brought ashore for processing.

Meanwhile, in the Doğanbey Sakızağacı area of the Seferihisar district, a group of irregular migrants on land was identified by the Coast Guard Smuggling and Organized Crime Unit. With the support of the District Gendarmerie Command teams, 29 irregular migrants, including seven children, were apprehended.

After the necessary procedures were completed, the migrants were handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management, as per the announcement made by the Coast Guard Command.
