In a recent photoshoot, Elizabeth Hurley, 58, looked stunning as she discussed her son Damian directing her racy sex scene in their new film, “Strictly Confidential.” The actress went braless in a mini dress with a sheer lace top and a red latex skirt, posing in a vintage elevator. Liz explained that it wasn’t a big deal for them, as they had spent a great deal of time together over the years due to being a single mother to an only child. Damian, who recently made his directorial debut with the film, had always wanted his mother to star in his first feature, and she kept her promise to him.

Damian’s directorial debut, “Strictly Confidential,” follows a young woman drawn into a world of sex, duplicity, and betrayal after her best friend dies near her family home in the Caribbean. Elizabeth plays a mother named Lily in the film, who hosts her daughter’s friends at her estate following the mysterious deaths of her daughter and husband, revealing hidden secrets during the trip, including her love affair with her daughter’s female friend. After filming wrapped in the Caribbean island of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Elizabeth praised her son for sticking to his promise to star in his first feature film and expressed gratitude for the experience.

The inspiration for the film came from Damian’s personal experiences, including the loss of a friend to suicide and his biological father, Steven Bing. In the aftermath of these tragedies, Damian revisited a treatment he had written at 17, deciding he now had the experience to bring the story to life. Elizabeth’s son Damian was conceived during a brief relationship with Bing in 2000, and although Bing contested paternity, a DNA test confirmed Damian’s parentage. Bing never became part of Damian’s life and tragically died in 2020 by suicide. The film explores themes of loss, grief, and uncovering hidden truths in the wake of tragedy.

Despite the positive experience of working together on the film, Elizabeth and Damian faced criticism from a psychotherapist over their collaboration on the controversial project, particularly the lesbian sex scene involving the actress directed by her son. The therapist warned that simulating sex in front of a family member, even as adults, could be a significant boundary breach and advised against it. Elizabeth, however, defended the scenes as liberating, feeling safe and looked after while filming. Regardless, the mother-son duo faced backlash for blurring the lines between parent and child in their artistic collaboration.

Elizabeth Hurley’s openness to working with her son and Damian’s commitment to his creative vision have led to the realization of their joint project, “Strictly Confidential.” The film explores complex themes of loss, betrayal, and buried secrets, drawing on personal experiences and creative inspiration. Despite facing criticism for their collaboration, Elizabeth and Damian remain proud of their work and the bond it has solidified between them. As the talented duo continues to pursue their artistic endeavors, they navigate the complexities of family dynamics and artistic expression with grace and determination.
