Police teams in the Provincial Security Directorate initiated operations to capture fugitive convicts who are wanted for various crimes and have final prison sentences.
During the operations, 38 suspects were detained. After the necessary procedures at the police department, 14 of the suspects were arrested and sent to prison, while the remaining suspects were released under judicial control.
It was reported that since the beginning of the year, the teams have apprehended and referred 794 wanted suspects to judicial authorities.
The police continue their efforts to capture fugitives and bring them to justice, in order to maintain public safety and uphold the rule of law in the region.
