The governor’s office has announced that in order to prevent attacks, ensure the safety of lives and property, thwart the plans of terrorist organizations, and maintain national security, public order, and public health, some decisions have been made. As a result, from today at 6:00 p.m. until May 20 at 6:00 p.m., all kinds of protests, demonstrations, gatherings, press releases, sit-ins, drone activities, surveys, setting up tents and stands, organizing signature campaigns, and distributing leaflets and brochures are banned under the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations.

During the specified dates, individuals or groups from our districts or neighboring cities, or those passing through our city, are prohibited from participating in any illegal actions and events to prevent any potential participation in illegal actions and activities. According to the provisions of Article 11 (c) of Law No. 5442 on Provincial Administration, individuals, groups, or persons likely to participate in illegal actions and events are not allowed to enter our province and districts, to leave individually or collectively, and to use the route of our city by coming from other cities for crossings to the specified locations.
