Zelensky thanks Saudi Crown Prince for supporting Ukraine’s territorial integrity

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he thanked Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in a phone call, on Friday, for supporting Ukraine’s territorial integrity during the United Nations General Assembly.

“I agreed with the Saudi crown prince to communicate regarding the release of Ukrainian prisoners of war,” Zelensky said.

It is noteworthy that the mediation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the Russian-Ukrainian crisis led to Russia releasing 10 prisoners from Morocco, America, Britain, Sweden and Croatia at the end of last September.

The mediation of the Saudi Crown Prince in releasing 10 prisoners held by Russia from 5 countries was widely praised by the international community, with many major countries expressing their thanks for the Crown Prince’s humanitarian efforts.
