Yemeni optimism and international aspiration for the success of the {Riyadh meeting}

Ezmini Bala, Director of Communications in the Office of the United Nations Envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, expressed her hope that the upcoming Yemeni consultations in Riyadh, under the auspices of the Gulf, would provide “a platform for a constructive political dialogue that ultimately supports the efforts of the United Nations to reach a comprehensive negotiated political settlement of the conflict.” At the end of the day, regional support will be extremely important in order to reach a peaceful settlement of the Yemeni conflict, Bala told Asharq Al-Awsat.
