US planes take part in maneuvers that simulate striking Iran

At a remarkable time, American planes capable of refueling war fighters will join large-scale Israeli maneuvers that simulate striking Iran and its allies in the region.

Yesterday, the commander of the US forces in the Middle East (Centcom), General Michael Corella, accompanied by IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi, visited Israeli units participating in the “Vehicles of Fire” training.

The Israeli leaders told their American guest that the “chariots of fire” exercises, which began last week, will continue for four weeks.

Later, the Israeli “Channel 13” reported that the United States is considering the possibility of resorting to the military option at some stage, or at least supporting Israel or participating with it in military operations, although it still prefers the diplomatic path with Iran.

The channel pointed out that the US forces “will participate in the exercise in the form of refueling Israeli combat aircraft on their way to the attack”, supposedly on Iran; Which means it takes into account the possibility of partnership.

The channel’s report stated that the US participation in the maneuvers represents a “message to the Iranians, while negotiations on the nuclear agreement with Iran are faltering.”
