The launch of an “alliance” in Riyadh to adopt the next generation projects for sustainable development and green energy

The “Global Green Energy Alliance” completed the signing of the alliance agreement in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, concerned with adopting next-generation projects for sustainable development and green energy, officially with the Saudi Ministry of Investment, as the agreement is concerned with facilitating the alliance’s obtaining support and facilitating entry into the Saudi market, and supporting green energy projects, Reinforcing the Kingdom’s plan to reach carbon reduction and zero carbon.

The delegation of the Global Alliance for Green Energy promised to work on exploring new areas of related technology, with the need to correct efforts around the hypothesis of creating revenue centers with added societal benefits that the Kingdom is looking for as its goals towards its rightful place as a center for regional professionals, indicating that Saudi Arabia is dynamic and with a passionate people.

He stressed that the era of integrated clean and renewable energy production, transmission, storage and allocation is the second phase of the clean energy production cycle that is taking place now, pointing out that it is not possible to produce clean energy without storage by fully integrating into “green” manufacturing and manufacturing for future replacement during the manufacturing process, all the way to residential use. .

The delegation of the “Alliance” presented to the concerned authorities a number of proposals that strengthen joint efforts to build a superior manufacturing base in Saudi Arabia to take advantage of its geographical location, and invest in its multi-field talents, in light of the many natural resources of the enormous renewable energy potential.

    roadmap

The delegation stressed the importance of investing in relevant opportunities that could help in drawing up an effective road map, while the “alliance” adopted bringing expertise and implementing tools to stimulate good thinking through practical options, while benefiting from the alliance’s expertise in the field of renewable energy and building sustainable development.

The coalition delegation expected that the efforts would yield real benefits of reliable clean energy and the availability of electric energy even in remote areas, stressing that electric energy is the future of modernity and that its production should be a measure of wise policy choices, as is the case with the 2030 renewable energy program in The kingdom.

The “coalition”, which includes many international non-governmental organizations that share compatible economic and environmental goals, includes a new model for building a sustainable, low-carbon future, as it follows the planning of the path of “practical rather than political solutions”, so that any advice can be considered on the results of practical economic and social benefits. , with an agenda being judged by the results.

The members of the consortium are working on projects ranging from advanced long-term energy storage such as the Energy Vault project, which is currently being completed in Wudong under the administration of Nantong, Jiangsu Province, China, on the coast of the Yellow Sea. This project manages 14 cities and five regions.

The Coalition urges the intermediate steps currently planned for short-term battery storage, which are now being planned for Mongolia’s “modern high-capacity grid” interconnecting with its neighbors and the final production of green hydrogen from the now-flaming methane “a very potent greenhouse gas” that is common in many conventional fuel production cycles.

    Attracting Chinese industrial companies

For his part, Abdullah bin Zaid Al-Malehi, Chairman of Excellence Holding Company – the local partner of the Global Alliance for Green Energy – explained that the alliance aims to attract a large number of Chinese industrial companies to enter manufacturing in the Kingdom to manufacture green energy materials and products, and produce green energy to operate the factories that are underway. implemented.

Al-Malehi stressed that the US-Saudi delegation held several meetings with official Saudi authorities, including the Investment Fund, the Ministry of Investment and Aramco, where the Excellence Holding Company organized and provided advice and ways to comply with the specifications specified in the policy documents recently issued by the Kingdom.

According to Al-Melehi, the meetings with the US-Chinese delegation reviewed ways to transform the idea of the Global Green Energy Alliance into a reality from Riyadh, and how to enhance joint cooperation between members of the alliance and official authorities in the field of industry, green energy projects and zero carbon.

Al-Malehi pointed out that the Saudi-Chinese-Arab business conference, which is scheduled to start next week in Riyadh, will witness a large participation by members of the Global Alliance for Green Energy, along with a number of Chinese companies, to transfer and exchange global experiences in the field, and provide a huge database related to green energy.

    Green Energy Alliance

A group of green energy and economic development groups from China and the United States, with the participation of the Saudi local partner, Excellence Group Holding Company, visited Riyadh recently and held many high-level talks on specific projects that follow the Kingdom’s vision to support high-quality long-term employment opportunities.

The members of the “coalition” consist of prominent non-governmental organizations from China and the United States, specialized in new energy, sustainable development and new methods of creating Saudi Arabia’s vision as a center for manufacturing and science for equipment and technologies that have found useful elsewhere in Asia to help mitigate the global effects of climate change.

The delegation of US NGOs was led by Neil Bush, and the membership included Dr. Eric Fang, President and CEO of the National Center for Sustainable Development (NCSD) in Washington, D.C., which is dedicated to creating sustainable industries centered around the manufacturing of industrial equipment and projects designed to mitigate the causes and effects of climate change. NCSD is currently working on a first-of-its-kind gravitational energy storage project in Rudong, China.

The Chinese NGO delegation was led by Secretary-General Zhang Jia of the Energy Professional Investment Committee (APIC) of the China Investment Association, which has been cooperating with NCSD for several years in developing new energy projects in China and elsewhere in Asia, by visiting The “coalition” to Saudi Arabia as a major local partner and leader of the coalition.
