Dutch world champion Max Verstappen returned to victory for Red Bull, by winning the Saudi Grand Prix, the second round of the Formula 1 World Championship, on Sunday.
Mad Max compensated for the disappointment of his withdrawal from the first round of the new season at the Bahraini Sakhir circuit, with a narrow victory in the last laps, ahead of the first winner this year, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc of Monaco.
Leclerc’s teammate, Carlos Sainz, finished third, while Red Bull’s other Mexican driver Sergio “Checo” Perez, who started from the lead, slipped to fourth.
