The Ministry of Culture launched, under the name “Ramadan Season,” a month of continuous activities. The video clips also highlight groups of singers roaming the alleys of Jeddah Al-Balad, so that their voices rise with traditional songs that a number of singers repeat behind them, applauding with joy and joy at what they hear.
Among the activities is “Ramadan Stories”, where the storyteller returns in the person of a resident of historic Jeddah, sitting on a platform in Barha Al-Hazazi (an open space between the houses bearing the name of one of the old houses overlooking it, which is Al-Hazzazi House). The storyteller sits with a laptop in front of him, displaying aerial photographs of the country, indicating the locations of houses and mosques, and enumerating what remained standing and what was destroyed.
