The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced the destruction of two booby-trapped boats, and the thwarting of an imminent hostile Houthi attack on giant oil tankers in the southern Red Sea, yesterday.
The coalition explained that the launch of the two booby-trapped boats was prepared from the Houthi-controlled province of Hodeidah, indicating that the Houthi militias are escalating their hostile attacks to target energy sources and the nerve of the global economy.

According to Brigadier Turki Al-Maliki, the coalition spokesman, the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia has escalated its hostile cross-border attacks towards Saudi Arabia, to target civilian objects and economic facilities in a systematic and deliberate manner.
The day before yesterday, Saudi Arabia announced its disclaimer of responsibility for any shortage in oil supplies to global markets, and warned that the repeated attacks by Iranian-backed Houthi militias on its oil facilities pose a direct threat to the security of oil supplies, and called on the international community to stand firmly against the Houthis and their sabotage attacks that It leads to severe damages, and affects Saudi Arabia’s production capacity and the fulfillment of its obligations.
Riyadh urged the international community to assume its responsibilities, stand firmly against the Houthi militia, and deter Iran from providing them with ballistic missile technologies and advanced unmanned aircraft, with which they target oil and gas production sites and their derivatives in Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi warning about the continuous attacks by the Houthi militias on oil facilities came at a time when oil prices are witnessing a significant increase, and after 3 weeks of the Russian-Ukrainian war, which caused tension in energy markets, and the affected industrial countries sought to urge the producing countries to amend their policies Its production, which is linked to the “OPEC Plus” alliance, and pumping more quantities to calm global markets.
