Saudi League: 3 decisive confrontations determine the fate of Al Hilal

The Asian champion is preparing for eight hot days between Al Majmaah, Abha and Dammam

Al Hilal will face eight decisive days in the Saudi Professional League, as it will determine its fate in terms of competing for the title or not, as it will play three matches, including Al-Fayhaa and Al-Ettifaq, which are postponed, in addition to meeting Damak in the 26th round competitions.

These three confrontations will determine the ability of Al Hilal to continue to catch up with Al-Ittihad, the leader in the standings, and reduce the difference with it, especially the postponed matches of Al-Fayha and Al-Ittifaq, with which Al-Hilal, in the event of its victory, will reduce the point difference with Al-Ittihad to only five points.

Al-Hilal will start its matches tomorrow with the postponed Al-Fayhaa match from the 19th round. Then he flies to meet the Damak team in Abha on Saturday evening, to continue his flights to the city of Dammam to meet the agreement postponed from the twentieth round.

Al-Ittihad currently leads the standings with sixty points, compared to 49 points for Al-Hilal, and 11 points in favor of Al-Ittihad. However, Al-Hilal played 23 matches, which means its ability to reduce the point difference to five points if it wins in these two matches.

In the event that Al Hilal is able to win in the next three confrontations, its match against Al Ittihad in the twenty-seventh round on Sunday, May 15th will be the confrontation of the season, as it will give Al Hilal more chances before the end of the battle by three rounds if it is able to win and reduce the difference to only one point. .

In the event that Al-Ittihad, which will open its matches after the resumption of the Saudi Professional League competition, stumbles against Al-Fateh and Al-Hilal’s victory in the three confrontations, the confrontation that brings them together will be pivotal and may give Al-Hilal the top of the standings.

Despite the difficulty of the confrontations and their succession for the Al Hilal team, the Argentine coach Ramon Diaz has proven his distinction since taking over the technical helms of the capital team and was able to lead it to the King’s Cup final and restore its chances of competing for the league title and qualifying for the Asian 16 round. The challenge that Al Hilal will face in its meetings against the teams looking to survive the relegation, and the match of the agreement in the forefront of the fact that the team is in a stage of real danger and hopes a lot to own a postponed match against Al Hilal, especially since it will be held on its land in the city of Dammam.

Al-Hilal is aware of the difficulty of its journey in search of competition for the league title, but football remains full of surprises and fierce competitions until the last moments, especially as Al-Ittihad will face a fate not far from Al-Hilal through its meetings against the teams looking to escape relegation.

The difficulty of Al Hilal’s remaining matches is to play four consecutive confrontations abroad, specifically in Al Majma’ah, then Abha, Dammam, and then Jeddah, in front of the Al Fayhaa, Dhamk, Al Ettifaq, Al Ittihad teams, provided that Al Hilal returns to play in Riyadh against Abha and then flies to Al Ahsa city to face Al Fateh, provided that it meets Al Faisaly In the last round of the competition, in the capital, Riyadh.

In the remaining matches, Al Hilal has 21 points, and if it is able to win in all the upcoming matches, it will reach the 70 point, but it will need to stumble in a confrontation other than the one that brings them together, either by drawing in two matches or losing one confrontation.

Al-Ittihad currently has sixty points and has 15 points coming from the remaining five matches, which means that it will reach the seventy-fifth point if it is able to win all its upcoming matches.

Al-Ittihad has several possibilities to achieve the Saudi Professional League title, but the first of these calculations, if Al-Hilal wins in all its upcoming matches, Al-Ittihad will be required to reach the point 71, which means its victory in three matches and a tie in a match to ensure that the title is achieved by a point over Al-Hilal.

The calculations will differ if Al Hilal stumbles in any of the upcoming confrontations, which will give Al Ittihad greater comfort in its journey towards embracing the title that has been absent from its treasuries for ten years, and the challenge will be based on Al Hilal winning 11 points, but this number will decrease whenever Al Hilal stumbles.

Al-Ittihad will need to collect eight points if Al-Hilal falters in any of its upcoming matches, and then the highest number that Al-Hilal will reach will be 67 points.

Apart from Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad will play competitive and difficult matches, as it will open its matches against Al-Fateh in Al-Ahsa, then host Al-Hilal in the city of Jeddah, after which it will leave for Hail to meet Al-Tai, one of the teams looking to escape from the relegation, then will face the agreement in Dammam, which is living a difficult stage in order to survive. He concludes his matches against Al-Batin in Jeddah, and Al-Batin is threatened with relegation as well.
