Saudi Interior Minister meets his British counterpart in London
Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef, the Saudi Minister of the Interior, held a session of official talks with his British counterpart, Soella Braverman, in the capital, London, during which they discussed ways to enhance and develop joint security cooperation paths. The two sides also praised the level of strategic partnership between the two ministries and the positive results achieved during the last period.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud expressed his thanks to the British Minister of the Interior for hosting the meeting, “which reflects the common desire to strengthen the strategic and historical relations that bind the two friendly countries,” stressing that his country’s government values and appreciates the existing security cooperation, noting the continuous security coordination between the two ministries of the interior in the two countries.
The session witnessed the signing of several agreements in the security, development and training fields between the Ministries of Interior in Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.
The session was also attended by Prince Khaled bin Bandar bin Sultan, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Dr. Hisham Al-Falih, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, and a number of officials at the Ministry of Interior. On the British side, a number of senior officials from the Ministry of Interior, and the British Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Neil Crompton.
