Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz received a number of cables from the leaders of the Gulf states congratulating the founding day, while Saudi cities are witnessing cultural, artistic and popular activities today, as the “starting march” will start from Riyadh, in which 3,500 artists, actors and performers will present panoramic paintings. It simulates the history of the Saudi state over three centuries, and various show scenes, interspersed with a presentation of a poetic epic in the region, the verses of which highlight the march of the Saudi state and its long extension for more than 3 centuries, in addition to the largest lyrical show entitled “The Foundation Operetta”.
Over the course of 3 days, Saudi cities will host the largest popular cultural show whose pillars simulate human struggle since the founding of the Saudi state and the development it has reached throughout its history full of achievements, as it includes a realistic presentation of the nature of the components of popular markets across the country.
In the era of the first Saudi state, Diriyah was a meeting point for pilgrimage and trade convoys coming from outside the Arabian Peninsula, which were teeming with different markets that varied in terms of popularity and popularity and in terms of the number of pilgrims who came to it before Islam.
