The memoirs of the former US Secretary of State attract wide attention and reveal secrets
The memos issued by the former US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, on Tuesday, attracted much attention at the US and global levels, in light of the secrets they contained.
In his memoirs, “Don’t Give Any Inch – Fighting for the America I Love,” Pompeo strongly defended Saudi Arabia, noting that his diplomatic relationship with the kingdom was irritating the American media.
The former US Secretary of State stressed that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is a reformer who “will prove to be one of the most important leaders of his time, and a truly historical figure on the world stage.”
And about former President Donald Trump assigning him to go to Saudi Arabia in October 2018, he said, “In a way, I think President (Trump) felt envious because I was the one who (teased) (the Washington Post) and (the New York Times) and other cowards.” They have no connection with reality.”
The memos included interesting information such as the assistance provided by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to rescue agents of the Israeli intelligence service (Mossad) during their seizure of documents on the Iranian nuclear program in 2018, as well as sparing the world a nuclear war between India and Pakistan.
