Comprehensive insurance for pilgrims allows visiting more than 2,700 health facilities in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah revealed that pilgrims and visitors can benefit from more than 2,764 facilities providing health services in the cities and regions of the Kingdom during the Umrah season, as part of the “Insurance for Umrah performers coming from outside the Kingdom” program from all countries of the world to perform Umrah.
151 hospitals provide their services to pilgrims and visitors coming to Makkah and Madinah, among a selection of hospitals in the public and private sectors, in addition to 773 health centers and medical complexes that provide their services, and about 1,840 medical laboratories and pharmacies in all regions of the Kingdom.
The “Insurance for Umrah performers coming from outside the Kingdom” program aims to enhance the quality of life of Umrah performers and visitors while they are in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah and pray in the honorable kindergarten. And enriching their religious and cultural experience, in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The insurance policy provides health and insurance services that include travel, and harnesses all capabilities and efforts for pilgrims and ends all requirements from the moment they arrive until their departure after performing the rituals in order to achieve the objectives of Vision 2030 of improving the experience of pilgrims and enabling them to perform the rituals of Umrah by finding solutions and quick options, which facilitates them Perform their rituals in peace and comfort, until they return to their country in health and safety.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah recently announced a set of facilities for pilgrims, including allowing the performance of Umrah for all types of visas, canceling age conditions, and procedural restrictions related to the presence of a mahram for women, while facilitating the movement of pilgrims between the cities and regions of the Kingdom, in addition to extending the period of the Umrah visa from 30 days to 90 days, with the aim of facilitating the arrival of pilgrims with ease and ease, raising the quality of services provided, and enriching the religious and cultural experience of the pilgrims.
